AT THE BAR

Millie shook her head and looked again ... she was right, her eyes were not deceiving her ... she was looking at herself and the girls.

As she looked at the 'other' Millie dancing away and enjoying herself she felt otherworldly, this was all so real, not like a dream ... and yet ... and yet she wasn't really there. She knew that she couldn't be, no one was aware of her, to everyone in the nightclub she was invisible an entity that did not exist.

Just a she was concluding that she would never wear that particular dress again as she watched herself dancing away when she felt the now familar tug at her and saw the dancefloor recede as she found herself being moved in the direction of the bar.

Again she could hear the voices of the people she passed, she could hear the whispered tones of love, the deeper tones of lust, the darker tones of threats ...

She saw the bar ahead of her and felt herself being moved next to a smart dressed man who was leaning against the polished metal surface deep in conversation with a very muscular man dressed in a cut-off t-shirt.

The man with his back to her took something from the muscular guy and she heard him say, 'So a few drops of this in her drink and she will be like putty in my hands.'

'She'll do anything you want ... and I mean anything', sneered Mr. Muscles.

'Perfect', said the smart dressed man.

'Mummy is going to be in for one hell of an evening ... I am so glad she could make it here tonight.'

There was something about his tone, his voice that Millie recognised ... it sent a shiver down her spine.

She saw him put the package into his pocket.

She then watched as he slowly turned round, away from Mr. Muscles, to stare at the dancefloor.

It was then that she realised just who was standing in front of her.

It was Justin Gonzalez ... he was standing sipping at his drink and staring at Amanda as she danced away in the distance........
