VISIONS

Millie felt the real world slipping away from her.

It wasn't an unpleasant feeling but it did concern her that she was sensing a complete loss of control about what was happening to her.

Everything became a myriad of bright colours and shapes, they were slow moving at first but began to rotate and spin in increasingly fast cycles.

Suddenly she felt as though a huge hand grabbed her and pulled her towards it ... it was a similar experience to being on one of those incredible roller-coasters in a Floridian theme park ... the force that was pulling her was immense and it both scared her and thrilled her at the same time.

She felt as though she was flying, although logic told her that she couldn't possibly be ... she was sitting in a bar enjoying a glass of champagne with her friends ....

Then almost as quickly as it had started she felt herself slowing down ... visually all she could still make out was the bright lights and shapes but they were slowing down, some had stopped.

She felt herself regaining control, she could move her head and look around, she felt ground beneath her feet.

Like an optical lense in front of a distorted image this new reality started to come into focus.

She was standing on a darkened street, it was London, some sense told her that much, but she was not familiar with it.

She looked across the street and saw a line of people queing outside a nightclub ... they were dressed in fetish fashion and were chatting excitedly amongst each other.

Above the entrance was a stylish name plate, the black lettering stamped onto brass.

'GOTHEX'

Oh my God, thought Millie to herself, I am outside Justin Gonzalez' nightclub.

Then, before she had time to absorb this fact the forces that had brought her here started to gently push her across the street .......
